PLEASE NOTE REQUIRES SAFE HANDLING: This ceramic component is exceptionally fragile. Do not touch the inner grey crystal/carbide heating element with your bare hands during installation. Skin oils can create hot spots on the surface, causing the replacement ignitor to crack or burn out prematurely.
When does this part need to be replaced? To inspect the ignitor, ensure the oven is completely unplugged from the power wall outlet first. Replace it if you see: Visible cracks, White powdery spots, or No glow at all. Performance Warning Signs are:
